Geology Comments

Nov 17, 2009 (A Wilson) - This area is the Biscotasing arm of the Swayze greenstone belt and contains rocks that are highly strained and metamorphosed to amphibolite facies. Primary stratigraphic relationships are obscured. Rocks of this Biscotasing area appear to be a southwestward extension of the units exposed in Cunningham and Blamey township areas.
