Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Mineralized zone is described as being 9-10' wide (3 m) and associated with soft, pyritic mafic volcanics and porphyry intrusives. Other sulphide minerals present include pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and arsenopyrite. A mineralized sample from this area returned an assay value of 0.07 opt (2.44 g/t).

Nov 16, 2011 (P Bousquet) - During the Augen Gold Corp. propecting project of 2008, one sample of reddish grey porphyry taken in the vicinity of the Cipway-Southwest occurrence returned an assay of 1.255 gpt Au (T-5852).

Notes: A number of small trenches were located on the south slope of a small hill in the area of the approximate location of the Cipway-Southwest showing. It is not known whether this is in fact the showing or trenches from other exploration. A total of three old trenches were found in this area, two of which were overburden filled. The one trench which had a visible exposure consisted of well foliated to sheared mafic volcanics in contact with a well foliated to sheared quartz-feldspar porphyry. The porphyry contains a shallow dipping white quartz vein with a maximum width of about 10 cm. No visible sulphides were observed associated with the quartz. The mafic volcanics appear well chloritized with trace scattered pyrite crystals. Fracture surfaces and weathered rind is well rusted.
