Geology Comments

Jun 30, 2016 (A Wilson) - The quartz veins in the shear zones are either attenuated or occur as sigmoidal extension gash arrays.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A strongly sheared pebble conglomerate is cut by a number of large multi-phase quartz veins and shear zones. Adjacent to the shears are broad alteration/mineralization zones. Alteration is to sericite, pyrite, silica, iron carbonate and locally to anhydrite.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Disseminated pyrite occurs in the matrix of the conglomerate and forms up to 10% of the rock. Within the blue quartz - carbonate-tourmaline veins, pyrite is the main mineral and is locally associated with mariposite. Molybdenite, galena and arsenopyrite occurs erratically in small amounts in both the veins and conglomerate. The higher gold values are associated with sulphides in the attenuated and boudinaged veins rather than the conglomerate. Assay results obtained by Osway Explorations from the trenched ranged up to 23 g/t Au and 312 g/t Ag. Average values for the multiple zones intersected by drilling are 1.4 g/t Au and 7 g/t Ag.
