1956: Aumacho River Mines Ltd. carried out geological mapping and a magnetometer survey. 1966: Canadian Nickel Company Lts. Completed 5 diamond drill holes. 1976: Union Miniere Exploration and Mining Corporation Ltd. carried out an airborne magnetometer survey. 1981-88: Ingamar Explorations Ltd. carried out a magnetometer and VLF survey, geological mapping, airborne mag and VLF survey. 2010-2011: Charlie Mortimer carried out overburden stripping.

Mar 24, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - East-west striking iron formation, 12,000 feet long and approximately 200 feet wide. Contains chert, jasper, ferruginous argillite.

Mar 24, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - Contains chert, jasper, ferruginous argillite, magnetite, hematite and in the eastern part lenses up to 75 feet long and 12 feet wide of pyrite, pyrrhotite and trace amounts of chalcopyrite. A sample analyzed by the Ontario Geological Survey in 1987 returned 19% iron.
