Lithology Comments

Apr 29, 2020 (Q Unknown) - Lean iron formation with chert. The showing is found in a partially filled old pit about 5 by 8 m in size grey to black locally ferruginous chert which has bedding thickness of 7 to 30 cm, is interbedded with subordinate graphitic shale, strikes west and dips 80S, is intermittently exposed at the foot of the western wall of the pit

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A sample of massive iron formation returned an assay of 38.5% Fe and negligible values of Zn, Cu, Pb, Ni, Au and Ag.

Apr 29, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - Disseminations and local massive stringers of fine-grained sphalerite and lesser galena occur within the chert: galena is also present as a few cubic crystals up to 1 cm in size. A composite sample consisting of 14 chips of mineralized chert from different beds. Assayed as follows: Fe 3.5 percent, Zn 3.0 percent, Pb 1.9 percent, Cu 780ppm, Ni 84ppm, Au 1.028 g/t, Ag 7.199 g/t.

Dec 07, 2005 (Q Unknown) - Chert contains pyrite, sphalerite, galena and chalcopyrite. Three lenses between 50' and 100' long and up to 30' wide contain up to 25% pyrite.
