Point Location Description: Collar for diamond drill hole BL1 which is marked by NW casing.
Location Method: Field Visit with GPS
Access Description: Easy access to the area is possible by the logging / mining access road which extends north from Kormack and Highway 667. The northern branch of this road near Betty Lake passes within a hundred metres of the prospect.
1978: Granges Exploration carried out a HL electromagnetic survey over the prospect. In the following year a diamond drill program tested a conductor and obtained assays up to 1.2% Zn and 0.2% Cu over 1.5m from a semi massive sulphide horizon in a fragmental tuff. The average grade of the mineralization is 0.62% Zn and 0.13% Cu. 1982: Quinterra Resources staked ground to the south and carried out an integrated exploration program over several years. In 1984 an airborne magnetic and VLF electromagnetic survey was flown which covered the prospect. Recently a new grid has been cut over the original drill hole collar and two diamond drill holes tested the mineralization either side of the initial hole. 1993: Granges Inc. - 2 ddh (272 m).

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - Up to 20% pyrrhotite combined with 3% sphalerite and 1% chalcopyrite is reported over 3m.
Jun 19, 2013 (A Wilson) - Assays from diamond drilling completed by Granges Exploration returned values of up to 1.2% Zn and 0.2% Cu over 1.5 m (Hole SW-68, T-1940). The average grade of the mineralization is 0.62% Zn and 0.13% Cu.
