Exploration History

1971-73: Dome Exploration Ltd. completed a ground geophysical survey (electromagnetic, magnetometer) and 3 diamond drill holes. 1983-1984: Kidd Creek Mines Ltd. completed 5 diamond drill holes totaling 2416 ft., assaying and analyses 1993: Noranda Exploration Co. carried out geological mapping, ground geophysical survey (electromagnetic, magnetometer), diamond drilling, and geochemical survey. 2008-2008: Skead Holdings Ltd. carried out assaying and analyses.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Peridotite was found below 175 feet in diamond drill hole 27-3-1. It is described as fine- to medium-grained,dark green and massive with occasional carbonate veinlets and minor serpentine development.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - In the zones of overlying metasediments where stringers of sulphides were found, assays of 0.045% Cu over 15 feet and 0.1 oz/t Au, 0.145% Cu and 0.25% Zn over 6.8 feet. In the peridotite, assays of 0.025% Cu and 0.16^ Ni over 7.5 feet and 0.03% Cu and 0.13% Ni over 10 feet.
