Mineralization Comments

Jun 20, 2013 (A Wilson) - No iron formation was observed on the south shore outcrop, though some was intersected in diamond drilling offshore. The main magnetic trend on the airborne magnetic survey, which may be due in part to iron formation, is well north of the south shore of the lake. Very sparse disseminated pyrite occurs in the calcite, quartz veins and adjacent wall rock matrix. The vein zone consists of a series of banded, discontinuous, calcite-quartz veins up to half a metre wide, within a narrow (3-4 m), strongly altered zone of intense carbonate alteration and silica flooding.
