Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The rocks have been logged as intermediate to mafic tuffs with a number of intercalated carbonate argillite horizons. The mineralization is hosted in a cherty horizon within the sequence. There appears to be a strong similarity to the Tooms Nickel occurrence.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Below the cherty mineralized horizon, anomalous copper values (<0.2% Cu) occur in a coarse grained fragmental rock. Up to 2% disseminated chalcopyrite and 1% pyrite occur in the rock. Within the cherty horizon, pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite occur disseminated in the rock or remobilized and concentrated along more recent fractures.
