Exploration History

1931: J.H. Collins staked the ground. 1933: Manitoba Basin Mines reportedly carried out a stripping and trenching program (No work is on file). 1987: Emerald Isle Resources covered the area of the prospect with an airborne VLF electromagnetic and magnetic survey but no ground follow-up work is on file. 1988: The Charet Syndicate covered the general area of the prospect with an airborne VLF electromagnetic and magnetic survey, but no ground follow-up work is on file.

May 26, 2020 (A Wilson) - The property is described as being underlain by an east-trending folded belt of mafic and felsic volcanics with minor amounts of sediments and iron formation. A prominent northeast-trending fault with left lateral movement cuts across highly sheared volcanics on the property.

Mineralization Comments

May 26, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - Several quartz veins occur in the volcanics, one of which contained visible gold. Near the occurrence, a prominent lateral movement is characterized by highly sheared metavolcanics in zones up to 200 ft wide.
