Point Location Description: Large boulder broken by blasting near an old trench.
Location Method: Data Compilation
Access Description: Relatively easy access is possible via the Dore Road, which connects with the old wagon road from Sultan to the Kenty Mine. The old trenches are about 3 km south along the wagon road which is now an ATV trail to Cree Creek. The creek can be waded and the float is another 2 km down the road.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Quinterra Resources determined that the auriferous material originally reported by Olive Gold Mines Ltd. occurred in float. The source for the boulder has not been determined. Gold values from samples collected from the float returned values of 30.1 g/t Au. Other boulders in the area did not return such high gold values.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Gold values for samples taken from the boulder returned values of 30.1 g/t Au. Samples taken of the same boulder, in 1990, returned values of 0.28 and 0.30 g/t Au.
