Access Description: The property is easily accessible by vehicle, using secondary logging roads branching east and west from the Foleyet Timber Road.



Exploration History

1976: Union Minere Exploration carried out an airborne magnetic survey (T-1732). 1981-1984: Canadian Nickel Company completed an airborne mag, EM and radiometric survey (T-2446). 1988: Charet Syndicate completed an airborne geophysical survey (T-3199). 1996-98: Inmet Mining Corporation completed ground geophysics, sampling, 1 diamond drill hole (249 m), mapping, lithogeochemical survey (T- 3823, T-3976, T-4052). 2007: VenCan Gold Corp carried out soil sampling, overburden stripping, geochemistry (T-5791). Red Pine Exploration Inc. carried out an airborne geophysical survey (electromagnetic, magnetometer; T-5962). 2016: Osisko Mining Corp. carried out geological mapping and sampling (T-7026).

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold values were returned from silicified intemediate metavolcanic breccia and altered quartz-feldspar porphyry sills.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The highest gold value from diamond drilling was 0.56 g/t Au over 1 m. The best sections returned 0.2 g/tAu over 4.05m and 0.34 g/t Au over 4.5 m. Surface samples reportedly returned values of 0.1 g/t to 0.2 g/t Au over lengths of 1 km and widths of 300m.
