Point Location Description: Diamond drill hole taken from a claim sketch and transferred to a geology map at 1:31,680.
Location Method: Data Compilation
Access Description: The occurrence is located near the Horwood - Silk Township Line and access to the area is easiest via the Dore Main Haul Road and then the turn off to the Orofino Mine site. Just before the mine site there is another road which heads east towards Horwood Lake. This secondary road passes close to the plotted position.
1947 Radiant Exploration drilled a series of widely spaced holes along an east - west line and obtained one minor gold intersection. All other assays were trace or nil gold. 1981 Northgate Exploration covered the area with various geophysical surveys but no additional work on the original area has been reported.
