Point Location Description: Quartz vein exposed through pit in overburden.

Access Description: Access to general area of the occurrence is easy via the Dore main haul road and the Orofino Mine/Rundle Mine access road. In contractst, access from the road to the prospect is more difficult requiring about a 3 km canoe trip up the Swayze River and portaging a set of rapids and one set of falls.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A highly oxidized vein was exposed in two pits 10 and 12 feet deep. Exposure consists of quartz stringers with carbonate cutting fine-grained diorite.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Wall rock inclusions are reported as being well mineralized with disseminated pyrite. The footwall is also said to be mineralized for a width of 2 feet from the veining.
