Jan 27, 2014 (B Atkinson) - Recent stripping and trenching has exposed iron carbonate altered mafic volcanic flows intruded by fine grained, pink metasomatized syenite dike. Irregular quartz veins occr at the contact between the flows and the dike and carry minor pyrite. Diamond drill collars observed at UTM NAD 83 Zone 17, 398668E, 5304346N trending 220/48SW. Drill collar labelled G-03-8 tested beneath the stripped area.
Mar 07, 2013 (A Wilson) - Several holes were drilled in an area to the south west of Cedar Lake by Dome Exploration. Three of these holes reported intersecting significant anomalous gold values. Anomalous gold values were reported in tholeiitic, pillowed, carbonate altered mafic metavolcanic rocks.
