Point Location Description: Diamond drill hole collar for hole W-86-3
Location Method: Data Compilation
Access Description: Take Dore Road north from the main haul road between the town of Sultan and Highway 144. A road heads east into Benton Twp from a point below the Wakami River in Garnet Twp. This road allows access to the Wakami River in Benton Twp. Heading east, the Wakami River becomes the Woman River and the drill hole showing is located about 700 m west of the Woman River in the northwest corner of Benton Township.
1975: Noranda Exploration performed a ground magnetic and electromagnetic survey over a block of 6 claims that straddled the small creek in the northeastern corner of Benton Township. 1976: W.G. Wahl Ltd. conducted ground magnetic and electromagnetic surveys over properties in the northeast and northwest corners of Benton and Mallard Townships respectively. Ground geophysics was followed up with geochemical surveys over selected anomalies to further define their source. Two drill holes were sunk into 2 conductors north of the creek to the southwest of the Weaco drill holes. These holes intersected primarily andesitic flows with graphitic argillite interflow sediments. 1981: Canadian Gold and Metals Inc. conducted an airborne electromagnetic survey over Benton, Esther, and parts of Osway and Mallard Townships. 1985-86: Weaco Resources Ltd. conducted a program involving airborne magnetic and VLF surveys, ground geophysical surveys, prospecting, geological mapping, stripping, trenching, and sampling over their 42 claim group in the northeast corner of Benton Twp. Three diamond drill hole tested geophysical anomalies and both holes, W-86-2 and W-86-3, intersected sections which were anomalous in their gold assays. Hole W-86-3 is the subject of this report. 2000: R.L. Lashbrook completed line cutting, prospecting, mapping and soil sampling. 2004: R.L. Lashbrook completed line-cutting and a VLF ground geophysical survey. 2006: Vencan Gold Corp. performed an aerial electromagnetic and magnetic survey (T-5418/2.33014).

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Drill hole W-86-3, by Weaco Resources Ltd., intersected anomalous gold values within what was described as a felsic tuff. Hole W-86-3 was drilled testing a Max Min electromagnetic conductor with a coincident weak magnetic conductor. The hole was drilled at 25 degrees AZ with an initial collar dip of 45 degrees and a total depth of 444.0' (135 m). The best assay in this hole was 0.03 oz./tonne gold (1.03 g/tonne) over a drill length of 40 cm. within 1.9 m section of what was described as massive pyrite containing quartz shards.
