Exploration History

1910: 4,000 ft of diamond drilling. 1950-51: Central Sudbury Lead-Zinc completed 23 diamond drill holes and magnetometer survey. 1957-68: Stackpool Mining Company completed 27,747 feet of diamond drilling and electromagnetic surveying. 2006: Vencan Gold Corp performed an aerial electromagnetic and magnetic survey, 17 diamond drill holes for 2425m of length, sampling, geochemistry (T-5418 / 2.33014, T-5561 / 2.34838)

Dec 07, 2005 (Q Unknown) - Iron formation occurs discontinuously over 4 1/2 miles and consists mainly of an upper (north) band of chert with minor siderite, magnetite, pyrite and pyrrhotite separated by up to 500 feet of volcanics from the lower (south) band of pyrite, siderite, magnetite, pyrrhotite, chert and silicate minerals.
