Mineralization Comments

Jul 10, 2009 (K Houle) - The better gold values were found to be associated with massive to semi massive pyritic sections of the iron formation with or without irregular quartz veins.

Jul 10, 2009 (D Draper) - Falconbridge work: --Drillhole H-1-80 assayed 0.41 opt (14.0 gpt) Au over 5.5ft in a zone of cherty breccia within IF, mineralized with 10% py. --Holes H-2 and H-3 were collared within 50m of H-1. H-2-80 returned 0.04opt (1.4 gpt) Au over 7.6ft, again in chert breccia, and 0.66% Zn and 0.14% Cu over 3.5ft of graphitic IF containing 80% py. H-3-80 assayed 0.16opt (5.5 gpt) Au over 4ft within a 14 foot section of IF averaging 0.067opt Au. A lower section returned 0.02opt Au, 0.12% Cu and 0.47% Zn over 7 ft. --Hole 668-3-84, collared 138m SE of H-1-80, averaged 2077ppb Au over 5.5ft (1.7m) across a contact between iron formation and feldspar porphyry. --Hole 668-4-84, collared 295m SSE of H-1-80, averaged 2.87 gpt Au over a 9.3m section of BIF, including 0.9m of 7.62 gpt. (T-2345) Halex drillhole 24, collared 75m south of H-1, intersected what was described in the log as a highly magnetic chert horizon mineralized with 30-40% pyrite in veinlets. This unit assayed 988ppb Au over 1.5ft. (T-3313) Conquest Yellowknife drilling: Holes CYR-1A, 2, 3, 4 were collared within meters of H-1; holes CYR-5, 6, 7 collared within meters of 668-4-884. Best gold assay results: --CYR-1A, 1142ppb over 4ft in IF; CYR-2, avg. of 2205ppb over 15ft from quartz breccia vein in IF; CYR-3, 987ppb over 6.6ft in a cherty, pyritic tuff; CYR-4, 2606ppb over 3.3ft in an altered quartz feldspar porphyry. --Holes CYR-5 to 7 all returned gold values greater than 500 ppb (up to 1632ppb) over at least 5 foot widths within iron formation. (T-3733) MacDonnell Trench Area 2, in the immediate vicinity of H-1-80, assayed up to 0.28opt (9.6 gpt) Au over 12ft, including 3ft of 20.57 gpt. (T-4260)

Jan 29, 2021 (Sheree Hinz) - Samples taken during OGS mapping project (T.Gemmell, 2019; per.comm) gave favourable returns. 19TG112A-2, a magnetite ironstone assayed at 19.06% Fe2O3 and 5.86 ppm Au. 19TG113A, a jasper sample assayed at 28.3% FeO2 and 4.54 ppm Au.
