Dec 08, 2009 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is descirbed as a 5 ft wide, east striking vein in gabbro. The vein dips 60°S. The vein has been exposed for over 1100 feet and the width varies from 10 to 60 feet.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 08, 2009 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by Parsons in 1900 returned 0.02 oz/t Au, 23.28 oz/t Ag, 5.64% Cu, 25.74% Pb. Surface channel sampling completed in 1929 returned 4.2% Pb, 1.1% Cu, 0.24% Zn, 0.02 oz/t Au and 6.6 oz/t Ag over an unknown width. A 6 foot chip sample collected from trench 6 in 1949 returned 7.01% Pb, 3.03% Cu, 5.62 oz/t Ag and 0.04 oz/t Au. An assay of drill core (DDH-4) collected by the OGS in 1949 returned 0.73% Cu, 1.88% Zn, 1.27 oz/t Ag and tr Au.
