Nov 23, 2009 (A Wilson) - Chip samples collected by Hopkins in 1955 returned 11.43% Cu over 5 feet, 10.33% over 3 feet. Diamond drilling by Armour defined a narrow, erratic, high-grade zone of Cu mineralization. The best assay reported from the Armour drilling returned 1.94%Cu over 5 feet and 0.45 oz/t Au over 10 feet; 0.30 oz/t Ag over 3 feet. A lower grade but more extensive zone of mineralization was reported in the adjacent sediments where drill hole H-2 returned a 70 m interval assaying 0.45% Cu. A grab sample collected by the OGS in 1973 returned 9.49% Cu from the shear zone, 5.15% Cu from the quartz breccia, and 8.68% Cu from the adjacent sedimentary breccia. A 12.5 foot chip sample collected by Midas Creek returned 0.37% Cu.
Mar 27, 2023 (Q Unknown) - Mineralization: 0.45 oz/t Au over 3 m from old drill legs (R143 p. 49).
