Nov 17, 2009 (A Wilson) - Several small pits in a quartz vein contain minor cobalt and nickel mineralization. The best assay obtained by Pantino Mines returned 7.16% Co, 2.0% Ni, 0.05oz/t Ag, 0.01 g/t Au. Several other pits in the area contain quartz veins with trace chalcopyrite and pyrite. The best assays from these pits returned 0.001-0.005% Co with Cu values of 0.21 - 0.45%.
