Mineralization Comments

Nov 17, 2009 (A Wilson) - In 1901, the Onaping Mining Company tested the gravels in the vicinity of Meteor Lake. The gold reportedly occurs as fine dust, scales and small flattened nuggets. The largest nugget weighed 57.2 mg. A test of about 600 lbs was made of the upper 2 feet of gravel and the gold recovered weighed 47.1 mg (1.66 oz). Harlin Resources assessed the gravels and concluded that the gold values in the gravels are generally <0.001oz/yd3 with anomalous values ranging from 0.001 to 0.004 oz/yd3
