Oct 11, 2011 (A Wilson) - This property is reportedly the site of the original discovery of silver in the Elk Lake area. Veins in the vicinity of shaft No. 2 assayed 19.66% Co, 7.00% Ni and nil Ag. This vein was reportedly 12 inches in width.
Jul 03, 2024 (Nazha Sabiri) - Samples R-0003 to R-0006 collected from quartz-carbonate, cobaltite and carbonate veins returned best assays of above 10000 ppm cobalt, 10.3 ppm silver, 453 ppm bismuth, 7450 ppm copper and above 10000 ppm arsenic (File 20000018396). Samples from diamond drill holes assayed 2220 ppm cobalt over 0.70 m and 4.62 ppm silver in hole ELS20003. 1792 ppm cobalt over 1.25 m in hole ELS20004, 18800 ppm copper over 0.60 m in hole ELS20005, 8.82 ppm silver and 1830 ppm copper over 1.00 m in hole ELS20006. Holes ELS20003 and ELS20004 intersected the main vein (the 12 inch calcite, cobalt-bearing vein) while holes ELS20005 and ELS20006 intersected a specularite- chalcopyrite veins (File 20000019555).
