Exploration History

1912-1917: Discovered by Ontario Solid Silver Mines Ltd. 1917-1927: Cane Silver Mines Ltd. sunk four shafts and carried out underground exploration. 1949: Ontigan Explorations Ltd. took a lease on the property. 1951: Canconti Mines Ltd. acquired the lease on the property. 1958: Windy Hill Mining Corp. acquired the lease on the property and completed 10 diamond drill holes totaling 1,684 feet. 1963-1965: Solid Silver Mines acquired the option on the property and carried out geological mapping and interpretation, 4 diamond drill holes totaling 806 feet. 1980: Cane Consolidated Exploration Ltd. carried out bedrock mapping, ground geophysics (VLFEM), and 9 diamond drill holes totaling 916m. 2021: Edward Shynkorenko completed prospecting, sampling, assaying and analyses.

May 03, 2023 (Q Unknown) - Nipissing diabase in the form of a sill or sheet dipping east and intrusive into Lorrain sandstone forms a northeast trending topographical ride.

Mineralization Comments

May 03, 2023 (Q Unknown) - On the east side of the topographical ridge in the upper part of the sill are a number of silver-bearing veins and dikes. The veins are aplitic with the ore mineralization associated with calcite as streaks and lenses. Leaf silver occurs disseminated in the diabase.
