May 06, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - The ‘Steep’ Occurrence consists of a narrow shear zone hosted boudinaged blue-grey quartz vein with fine grained visible gold and pyrite. The Steep vein samples collected during the 2021 were especially encouraging and comparable to historic values. Highlights from the program include 34.4 g/t Au & 41.5 g/t Au from grab samples taken from a pile of grey quartz fly rock with fine grained visible gold just 5 meters north of the historical Steep shaft. Another grab sample taken from loose grey quartz vein material in the Penny Lane trench 15 meters west of the shaft area retrieved 36 g/t Au. The chip channel samples were anomalous as well with the vein samples assaying at 13.7 g/t Au over 0.12 m, 4.49 g/t Au over 0.1 m and 4.31 g/t Au over 0.1 m. The chip channel samples from the wall rock were inconsistently anomalous with values up to 0.419 g/t Au over 0.4m. An outcrop 13 meters northwest of the shaft returned 3.44 g/t Au in a grab sample hosting 1-2% fine grained pyrite suggests the mineralization may be wider than the Steep Occurrence trench exposures and suggestions mineralization may continue to the north of the Steep vein (Assessment report 20000019663).
May 06, 2022 (Q Unknown) - DIAMOND DRILLING: REF. 2 OR 10, ADJACENT OCCURRENCE: REF. (13) TECK; 1.5G/T AU IN DH 600M SOUTH AND 260M WEST OF STEEP SHAFT; REF. 14: ZN ASSAY OF 1.5% IN GRAB SAMPLE BY FORT KNOX; Samples collected from this location in 1995 yielded one significant Au value of 0.30 ounces per ton.
