Access Description: Access is awkward, requiring a canoe to cross Schist Lake from a small landing on the south shore at the end of a trapper's trail. This trail connects to secondary forestry roads branching off of the Chester access road.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The rocks in the area are reported to be greenstone to chloritic schist with some silicified and bleached sections. Some talc schists are also reported.

Jun 10, 2013 (P Bousquet) - A sample (#Z079583) of mafic meta-volcanic with a quartz vein returned an assay of 0.603 g/t Au (T-6404 / 2.50129).
