Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A shear zone with irregular inclusions of feldspar porphyry occurs proximal to the sulphide mineralization. The sear zone occurs at a drill depth between 268 ft and 282 ft. and intersects the core axis with an angle between 10-30 degrees.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The original showing was reported as being a 15 ft wide exposure of pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization occurring within a grey dioritic rock along the northeast shore of Bernice Lake. Follow-up drilling in this area failed to reveal anomalous copper mineralization. The anomalous Cu values reported in ddh #1 are the subject of this occurrence. Hole #1 drilled on the southwest shore of Bernice Lake, intersected what is described as a dark basalt cross cut by felsic intrusives. Several samples taken within the dark basalt returned anomalus Cu values associated with sulphide mineralization. Hole #1 was drilled towards the southwest with an initial dip of 45 degrees. The total depth of this hole is given as 301 feet.
