Syenite 3 Syenite Host

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - Kenogamissi Batholith.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Host rocks for the uranium mineralization appear to be pink to reddish syenite that has been extensively brecciated and to a lesser extent, reddish granite and pegmatite. The highest radioactivity appears to be associated with a flat-lying breccia zone that contains dark, greenish-black interstitial material. The younger pegmatite stringers are essentially barren.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - None found.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Radiometric assays of three samples of the breccia zone reportedly ranged from 0.48 to 0.54 lbs U3O8/ton.
