Sep 29, 2011 (A Wilson) - The host rocks are folded, highly altered (carbonate-quartz-sericite) conglomerates with a few interbeds of fine-grained sandstone and some pebbly conglomerates. Regal Goldfields described intersections of quartz porphyry, and porphyritic rhyolite with sections of intense alteration. Quartz, pyrite, sphalerite and minor scheelite with green chromic alteration was also observed.

Sep 29, 2011 (A Wilson) - A 1.4 m section of core assayed 6027 ppb Au (DDH G-23). The core section included a quartz vein. Old reports suggested assays as high as 0.53 oz/t Au over 8 feet and 0.77 oz/t Au over 5 feet, however drilling by Goldteck in the late 1980s did not repeat these values. The best assays were 0.08 oz/t over 6.6 feet and 0.1175 oz/t Au over 4.6 feet. Mineralization is hosted within quartz-dolomite-ankerite veins with pyrite and sparse chalcopyrite and sphalerite. Regal Goldfields DDH SM83-4 intersected 1 foot of 0.14 oz/t Au.
