Point Location Description: Collar of Essex DDH 79-1

Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: Essex DDH 79-1 was collared in the middle of a small unnamed lake located on the Hutt - Halliday boundary. A trail that extends south from Highway 566 along the power line that transects Hutt Tp. may provide access to the occurrence.

Lithology Comments

Aug 18, 2009 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of rhyolite and andesitic breccia interbedded with rhyolite tuff breccia. The conductive horizon is a graphitic nodular pyrite unit containing scattered carbonate and quartz veins.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 18, 2009 (A Wilson) - A 5 foot section of drill core returned 5400 ppm Zn, 80 ppm Pb, 940 ppm Cu, 0.6 oz/t Ag and 0.03 oz/t Au from a section of graphitic nodular pyrite. A 24 foot section of this horizon averaged 0.03 Au, 2914 ppm Zn and anomalous copper.
