Geology Comments

Aug 19, 2009 (G Seim) - The occurrence grade assay reported from a quartz vein on the northern side of a 25-30 m green-carb altered shear zone through ultramafic to mafic metavolcanic rock. The green carb zone and shear zone are found a top a low east trending rise. The green carb rock contains a stockwork of quartz stringers (tension gashes) with a preferred orientation of 030/90. On the north side of the rise, the green carb zone weaken in intensity and stronger, but deformed quartz veins are present. There may also be chert/lean iron formation present.
