Geology Comments

Aug 27, 2010 (G Seim) - In the vicinity of the main showing, sheared and folded mafic and felsic metavolcanics are intruded by dikes of diorite porphyry and quartz-feldspar porphyry. Mineralized shear zones are found close to and along the diorite-porphyry-andesite contact and along the andesite-acidic volcanic contact. The property is largely covered by overburden. The main showing is a shear zone, 1 foot to 4 feet wide, which has been exposed for a distance of 250 feet. The zone parallels the axial plane of an anticline and consists of rusty pyritized sericite schist from which gold has been panned.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 27, 2010 (A Wilson) - A 2000 t bulk sample collected by Abitibi Mining yielded 220 ounces of gold. The average grade was reported as 0.0785 oz/t Au. The best intersections from Abitibi Mining's drilling returned 6.103 g/t Au over 0.67 m and 3.742 g/t Au over 2.5 m. The drill log for DDH S-1 indicates Palladium values up to 134 ppb over 3.0 ft. Several channel samples have assayed greater than 0.05 opt Au. The best assay from drill core was 0.22 opt Au. Grab samples collected from trenches have returned assays up to 1.0 oz/t Au, 4 oz/t Ag and 10% Zn
