Lithology Comments

Aug 27, 2010 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold values were intersected in a silicified zone with narrow quartz stringers. The silicification occurs in greywacke and tuffs. Mapping has shown that the Budd Lake area is underlain primarily by mafic metavolcanics (flows, tuffs agglomerate) with minor intercalated felsic metavolcanics (flows, pyroclastics). The metavolcanics trend from northeast to easterly and are schistose and highly carbonatized in places. Intruded into the volcanics is a 200 to 300-foot-wide serpentinized peridotite/dunite plug that strikes due north. The aforementioned limited drilling and follow-up trenching and sampling in the immediate area has shown that over a strike length of 200 ft. and a width of 170 ft. ... there are 4 gold-bearing quartz-carbonate vein systems. There are also 5 ancillary horizons containing lesser gold values. The gold-bearing quartz stringers contain associated disseminated pyrite and in places also tourmaline and abundant fuchsite. These gold-bearing vein systems trend parallel to the local schistosity.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 27, 2010 (A Wilson) - Buffalo Ankerite DDH 2 averaged 0.2 oz/t Au over 6.5 feet in a silicified shear zone. A drill hole completed by Empire Explorations returned 0.04 oz/t Au over 4 ft and 0.06% Cu and 0.06% Ni over 6.5 ft in the same drill hole. Grab samples collected by Quote Resources Inc. in 1987 returned values ranging from 0.01 to 0.18 oz/t Au
