Access Description: A system of forest access roads leading south from Pine Street in Timmins leads through Sothman Township. About 2 km north of the crossing of the creek connecting Little Reading Lake to Sothman Lake a thrail may lead off w off of the main toad to the vicinity of Hut-48.

Lithology Comments

Aug 30, 2010 (G Seim) - Serpentinized peridotite is described as apple green-black, 25% - 30% talc, and serpentine-filled fractures, fracture angles are erratic, fracture surfaces commonly slickenslided, pale blue and white fibrous material common, no visible sulphides.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 30, 2010 (A Wilson) - Samples from Granges DDH-H-48 returned nickel values ranging from 0.26% Ni over 5 ft. to 0.30% Ni over 5 feet. No sulphides were reported in drill core.
