Aug 30, 2010 (G Seim) - The hole cut 45 ft of overburden before collaring in a conglomerate to a depth of 72.5 feet. From 46.5 ft. to 48.0 ft. the hole cut a rhyolitic band containing 10%pyrite, minor sphalerite and a trace of chalcopyrite. The sphalerite content was estimated at 2% over the last 6 in. of the band. From 72.5 ft. to 188 ft. down hole the hole cut graphitic slate intercalated with soapstone (ultramafic rock). Locally the graphitic slate contained pyrite, sphalerite, galena and chalcopyrite though this mineralization was not assayed. Further down hole soapstone is intercalated with granite and gneiss.
