Lithology Comments

Apr 24, 2015 (A Wilson) - The property is underlain by Archean sedimentary rocks classified as either conglomerate or greywacke to the north and south. A gold bearing dike of syenite intrudes the sediments in an east-west direction at the southern boundary of the property. Mafic to intermediate volcanic rocks underlie the central and eastern sections of the claim group. Matachewan swarm diabase dikes traverse the property in a north-south direction. The western extension or Matachewan Branch of the Larder-Cadillac Break cuts the property at the south end.
