Access Description: Claims are accessed via the Montreal River, approximately 1 mile east of Matachewan, across the river from the boat launch at the Hub Pioneer Park.
1964 - Property staked and trenched by G. Sunisloe. Reported low gold assays and copper. 1965 - Rosmar Corp. Ltd. conducted a limited self-potential survey over parts of the property. 1966 - North Expo Mines Ltd. completed a mag and EM survey over the property and diamond drilled 3 holes(1,001 ft). 1976-79: Sylva Explorations Limited - ground geophysics (mag and EM), geochemistry, trenching. 1991-93 - D. Chartre and R. Dufresne staked the property and resampled the old pits; magnetometer and EM surveys covered the property and completed a power stripping and sampling program, ground magnetometer and VLF surveys. 2003-05: Alexandria Minerals Corporation - airborne geophysics, compilation, ground magnetic and IP surveys.

Mar 20, 2015 (D Guidon) - A few minor shear zones strike at 050°. Often hosts short quartz carbonate veins. Veins contain pyrite, chalcopyrite and hematite. Host rock is granodiorite with dioritic phases.

Mar 20, 2015 (A Wilson) - A 5 foot core intersection between 233 and 238 ft., from the North Expo Mines Ltd. drilling assayed 2.56% Cu. In a second drill hole, a section of core between 90 and 100 feet averaged 0.50% copper. Dufresne and Chartre samples AA-1 and AA-3returned 0.04 opt Au, 3.74% Cu and 0.06 opt Au, 2.23% Cu respectively (sample locations not shown). The samples were collected from within the stripped area 1(L. 1179890) as located on map areas of trenching and stripping for Chartre-Dufresne property (map KL-3311-1 in file KL-3311personal communications). Gold assays from samples collected in 1993 were low but copper assays were up to 0.91%.
