Jul 14, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - A grab sample taken from the fine-grained, white quartz vein by J.C.G. Moore assayed 0.13 percent molybdenum...sampling across 2.4 feet assayed 0.65 percent molybdenum. REF: OGS 1966, GR44, P16. Chip sampling by Tully, C.W. in 1959 returned assays with gold ranging from nil to 0.02 oz/ton. REF: KL 2725, pages 3 to 5.
Jul 14, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - In places, the host rock (syenite porphyry) forms a sheared and silicified zone up to 8 feet wide. Carbonate, where present, is commonly in the central part of the zone and in places reaches a width of 1½ feet. The quartz vein contains some epidote. REF: OGS 1966, GR44, P16.
