Geology Comments

Apr 06, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - 'A sheared contact with greenstone to the north and granite to the south bisects the exposure. There are several other shears trending southeast in the granite. The assay plan indicated that it is in the porphyritic border phase of the granite that the copper mineralization occurs. The adjacent greenstone is only slightly mineralized.' REF: KL 2428. About 500 m west of the property is a northwest-trending fault or deformation zone.

Lithology Comments

Apr 06, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Two rock types occupy most of the south-west quarter of Robertson Township. A contact trending southeast between Keewatin basic lavas to the north and granite to the south roughly bisects this area. REF: KL 2428. Diamond drilling on the property has also exposed ultramafic metavolcanics (komatiitic flows); mafic metavolcanics (basalts), metasediments (sulphide-rich chert bands); felsic intrusives (feldspar porphyry and felsite dykes); and mafic intrusives (diabase dykes). REF: KL 3436.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 06, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Assay results of chip samples collected from trenches have returned values ranging from 1 % to 4 % Cu; and from nil, through trace to 0.02 oz/t Au. REF: (Assay Certificate, dated July 7th, 1947) In KL 2428. 'The logs of the eight holes drilled by Cobalt Consolidated Corporation listed 0.26 % Cu as the best assay obtained, and two surface samples ran 0.86 % Cu, over 6.4 ft; and 1.72 % Cu over 1.6 ft, respectively.' REF: KL 2428.
