Oct 08, 2014 (A Wilson) - The rock units have been mapped as intermediate metavolcanics. These rocks have been silicified and carbonatized. Drag folding and and pronounced schistosity has been observed in the mineralized zone. The Main Zone area straddles the northern felsic/mafic interface and consists of a 30-50 m wide zone of silicification with associated chloritization, sericitization and sulphidization. The metasediments are described as being a carbonate-sericite sediment cut by at least 2 generations of quartz stringers with calcite along their walls.

Oct 08, 2014 (A Wilson) - Grab samples from a silicified breccia zone assayed from 0.14 to 0.20 oz/t Au. Diamond drill core samples of unspecified rock types assayed from trace to 0.03 oz/t Au. Diamond drilling reportedly intersected 0.31 oz/t Au over 10 ft in X-ray drill hole 4. DDH GB-1, drilled in 1973, returned an assay of 7.89 g/t Au over 1.46 m. The best intersection from the Montrose Gold drilling returned 3.57 g/t Au over 2.74 m in DDH 89-18. The best channel sample returned 3.8 g/t Au over 1.62 m. Grab samples collected from the property by H. Lovell in 1989 returned assays of 832 ppb Au and 5 ppm Ag from a sericitic sediment and 138 ppb Au and 3 ppb Ag from a banded sediment.
