Apr 09, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - 'On the Isadore claim, where the first discovery was made, the gold occurs in quartz veinlets in felsite; most of the veinlets strike N30°W.' REF: ODM, AR 1924, Vol. 33, Part 3, Page 38 (last sentence). The free gold is usually found in the areas of pyrite dissemination but in some cases, it is found within the quartz. Channel samples obtained from the Isadore dyke have returned values including 0.045 oz/t Au, over 28 ft. Visible gold was found in the 65 ft deep shaft. REF: Geological Report by John R. Boissoneault (dated August 30, 1983), page 7: In KL 0136. Trench samples have returned trace to 0.012 oz/t Au. Channel sampling performed by Warrior Ventures Inc. in 2006 on the Isadore shaft returned 2.02 g/t Au over 1.2 meters; several other channel samples returned less than 0.25 g/t Au. REF: KL 6222, page 27. Pyrite occurs as coarse cubes along the edges of stringers and disseminated in the felsite dykes.
