May 21, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - In 1949, Shanin located a gold showing on the claim; assays as high as $3.50/5.0' were reported (gold at $32.00/oz). REF: KL 3076, page 3; KL 2474. A sample of pyroxenite (sample WR-210733) collected from the site by Glenn Mullan in 1991 returned 0.08 % Ni. Two sites, located at about 200 metres south-west and about 400 metres west-north-west of the current MDI point share similar rock types and mineralization. A grab sample of norite (sample WR-210729) which was collected from the 200 metre south-west location returned 0.11 % Ni. REF: MAP KL3076-2
