Geology Comments

May 11, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Quartz vein occurs in a shear zone in medium- to coarse-grained hornblende granite. REF: OGS 1979, MDC 18, Part 2, Page 187.

Lithology

Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Granite 1 Hornblende-Granite/ Syenite Medium- To Coarse-Grained Host
Vein 2 Quartz Contains
Lamprophyre-Unsubdivided 3 Lamprophyre

Lithology Comments

May 11, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Diamond drilling on the property has intersected grey, porphyritic granite or syenite with some sericitization, chlorite and some cross-faulting. Also encountered in the drilling were lamprophyre and diorite dykes which would appear to strike almost north-south as do other porphyry and diabase dikes in the area.

Mineralization Comments

May 11, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Grab samples mineralized with pyrite, chalcopyrite and molybdenite assayed 0.12 oz/t Au; channel sample taken across 3 feet assayed 0.20 oz/t Au. REF: OGS 1979, MDC 18, Part 2, Page 187. The 1966 diamond drilling program by Richore Gold Mines Limited was over a strike length of 600 feet to test the continuity to depth of quartz veins as uncovered on surface. The veins were not intersected and drilling was stopped. REF: KL 2364, page 11.
