May 05, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Chip samples submitted for assay returned values ranging from 0.005 to 0.38 oz/t gold. The latter assay (sample 1630) is from the old Garvey vein at the southernmost part of the quartz vein. REF: KL2581, page 2. The sample had visible gold. REF: Location Sketch of Samples Map, in KL 2581. Chip samples collected by Phoenix Matachewan Mines Inc. in 2003 along the Garvey and Garvey extension veins returned values generally between 0.2 and 1.2 g/t in 12 samples, with the exception of sample No. 1216, representative of a 12-15 cm vein width, which returned 10.73 g/t gold. REF: KL 5245, page 6, fifth paragraph.
May 05, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Silicification, minor carbonatization (ankerite) and pyrite are common alteration products associated with the veining.
