Geology Comments

Jun 10, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - A sheared, fracture zone about 300 feet long and 3 feet wide strikes N55E and dips 85 degrees north. The shear zone cuts altered volcanic rocks and granite, and contains a few quartz-carbonate stringers and a small amount of pyrite. Quartz constitutes 60 percent of some parts of the granite. REF: ODM 1967, GR 51, P26-27. The shear is currently exposed for a length of 600 feet and has been channel sampled over this distance. REF: KL 2565, page xx.

Lithology Comments

Jun 10, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - A grey porphyritic granite (or syenite) with sericite and chlorite alteration was noted in drill core on the Richore property. REF: Report by Carl P. Forbes (dated January, 26, 1989), page 5, in KL 2565.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 10, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - High gold values have been reported in oxidized material in the shear zone, and lower values in diamond drilling. REF: KL 0474. Selected grab samples taken by H.L. Lovell from the dump gave assays ranging from 0.10 to 0.27 oz of gold/ton. Diamond drilling revealed a few quartz stringers, up to 0.6 feet in width, containing pyrite and very minor chalcopyrite. Best assays were 0.01 oz of gold/ton. REF: OGS 1979, MDC 18, Page 189; ODM 1967, GR 51, Page 26-27. Significant gold assays up to 4.75 oz/ton are directly associated with the shear zone and most particularly with pods of quartz flooding and greenish sericite mineralization. REF: KL 2565, page xx. In the area of the main Richore Pits, a north-south structure was encountered that has some width of alteration. Gold values appear to be low, but several samples assayed up to 1.34 % copper and 1.234 oz of silver per ton. REF: Report by Carl P. Forbes (dated January, 26, 1989), page 10 to 11, in KL 2565.
