Geology Comments

Jun 22, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - The rock underlying the property is largely andesite and andesite tuffs, which have been sheared and carbonatized. Nine quartz veins, all of similar character, have been found on the property. They are seldom more than 12 to 18 inches in width and occupy fissures in tuff and agglomerate. Mineralization is chiefly pyrite and chalcopyrite but some black tourmaline and pink calcite also occur. Of the known veins, No.6 is of most importance. It has been uncovered for 800 feet and ranges in width from 1 to 14 inches at surface.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 22, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Assays ranged from trace to 0.65 oz of gold per ton. REF: OGS 1979, MDC 18, P188-189. Golden Valley Mines Ltd drilled 3 holes on the property in 2004. Hole GRO-04-01 intersected 0.70 g/t gold over 0.31 m, and 1.30 g/t gold over 0.31 metres. Hole GRO-04-02 is inferred to be the southwest extension of the # 4 Vein from 1932 Baden Syndicate Occurrence. The zone from 34.62 - 34.71 ran 0.56 g/t (0.54 g/t check) gold over 0.09 m. GRO-04-03 may represent the southwest extension of the # 7 (south) or # 6 (north) veins from 1932 Baden Syndicate Occurrence on the east side of Belt Lake in the area of the old shaft, in an area of overburden cover. No significant results were intersected in that hole. REF: KL 5603, pages 22 to 25.
