Access Description: Access is via Pine Street south from Timmins (32 km) to the border of Bartlett and McArthur Townships. An old lumber road heads east toward the property.

Jan 25, 2012 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as narrow quartz veins within 2 parallel units of iron formation associated with narrow feldspar porphyry dikes. The iron formation is exposed intermittently for over 1 km in strike length. The unit strikes 128° with a consistent vertical dip.

Jan 25, 2012 (D Draper) - 1913 sampling of trench near twp line on claim 6057 returned up to $7.00 Au over 7ft (approx. 0.34 opt Au @ 1913 avg gold price of $20.60/oz) (T-281) In 1938, Westport sampled the main shaft/pit and adjacent pit and trench and drilled 6 holes in its vicinity. Best results were 0.019 opt Au over 4ft in hole 12 and up to $6.40 Au (0.18 opt @ 1938 avg gold price of $35.20/oz) from samples of the nearby pit. A second shaft (inclined, 22ft) is located 55m south of the main shaft. Hole 11 was drilled at this site and returned 0.06 opt Au. Westport noted visible gold in the vicinity of the main shaft and also at several other locations in or around Claim 6057 (T-1273). Channel samples by Inco of stripped area west of shafts assayed up to 5.99 ppm Au. (T-3198)
