Lithology Comments

Jul 12, 2007 (A Wilson) - A quartz-carbonate vein lies at the contact between intermediate tuffs and lapilli tuffs and a gabbro/diorite. The vein is described as irregular, varying from 2-5 ft in width. The vein strikes 65° and dips 20° to the south at the surface. Diamond drilling in the vicinity intersected silicified intermediate metavolcanics that are locally sulphide rich.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 31, 2012 (D Draper) - A sample taken at the Triple Lake showing by BHP Minerals in 1991 assayed 1830 ppm Cu and over 10,000 ppb Au. Sample was of quartz veining mineralized with 5-10% py and cpy. (T-3480) Sampling by Richmond Minerals returned gold values up to 41.38 gpt. (Press release) Another quartz vein sample (#16259) taken by Kick Exploration assayed 3.65 gpt Au and 1.155% Cu. (pp. 8-9, NI43-101 report)

Aug 23, 2012 (A Wilson) - Visible gold was reported in a quartz vein within metavolcanics. In 1932 gold valued at $2,738 was recovered from 155 tons (1932 Au @ $23.35; production = 117.26 oz). Channel samples collected by Erie Canadian returned values up to $8.40 from the vein between the shaft and the lake. Drilling by Lacana intersected a 40-50 ft wide mineralized zone which yielded anomalous gold values up to 0.02 oz/t over 5 ft. Grab samples collected by Lacana returned values up to 0.8 oz/t Au and 1 oz/t Ag over 3 ft. (T-2467)
