Access Description: Travel approximately 28 km south from Timmins on the Papakomika road to the Telluride road. Travel 6 km to first good bush road, turning right and travel 3 km west to second road, turning SW to site.

1923: Cameron-Porcupine Gold Mines Limited - trenching, pitting, 3 shafts sunk, 30 ft pit on Vein 2,20 ft pit, 20 ft pit 200 ft west of No 2 Vein and 15 ft pit sunk on No 15 vein. 1960: Canadian North Inca Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics, geology. 1974: Granges Exploration Canada - airborne geophysics

Lithology Comments

Jul 09, 2007 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is hosted within narrow quartz veins in porphyritic diorite. The veins strike 290°. The diorite is described as a contact facies of the Peterlong Lake Complex. The quartz veins contain rare sulphides.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 09, 2007 (A Wilson) - Fine free gold was reportedly observed in the test pit on vein No. 15. Assays from samples collected by the Ontario Bureau of Mines in 1925 returned no gold values. Samples collected from the muck piles and trenches by Canadian North Inca Mines Ltd. also returned no gold values. At least 21 veins were identified on the property.
