Aug 24, 2012 (A Wilson) - Spinifex texture is described as common. The rock is described as either narrow ultramafic flows or high level perdotitic intrusives. Brecciated flow tops were observed in drill core, as were cumulate textures. In hole Mc-77-1, the ultramafic flows are immediately overlain by a thin sequence of graphitic slate.

Aug 24, 2012 (D Draper) - Hole 92-MDD-07 was collared 185m north of Noranda hole Mc-77-1, and intersected ultramafic flows and peridotite. A 0.47m zone of graphitic breccia within the ultramafics, mineralized with 5-10% stringer po, cpy and py, assayed 9070 ppm Zn, 949 ppm Cu and 970 ppm Ni. The highest nickel value returned from this hole was 1695 ppm Ni. (T-3480)
Aug 24, 2012 (A Wilson) - A 0.7 ft section of drill core from Mc-77-1 returned 0.12% Ni, 0.173% Cu, 0.01% Zn and 0.09 oz/t Ag. A 3 ft section of core at the bottom of the drill hole returned 0.14% Ni, 0.005% Cu, 0.009% Zn and 0.02 oz/t Ag. (T-1670)
Jul 11, 2007 (A Wilson) - Serpentinized olivine is commonly observed in the flow centres.
